What is Contrast Slimming?

Contrast Slimming represents a new innovative approach in the treatment of cellulite and undesired fat removal. It uses state-of-the-art thermography and cryotherapy (thermal shock) to reshape the body. This is the first cost-effective body contouring solution and won the Most Innovate Device at the Gicare 2014 International Expo in Paris.

Contrast Slimming safely and effectively uses thermal shock to naturally destroy fat cells without any damage to the skin. The CRYO T SHOCK STAR breaks down fat cells by starting the treatment with heat than a prolonged period of cold then heat again. This process lowers the temperature of the targeted tat cells to between 12 and 17C trigging a phenomenon called apoptosis (a natural controlled cell death. The treatment breaks down fat cells by starting with heat then a prolonged period of cold then heat again. Clinical studies have shown that this technology naturally destroys fat cells, but as with most techniques, the results vary from one individual to another. Part of the fat cells are destroyed during the session, while most will be eliminated within two to three weeks after the treatment as your body naturally flushes the dead fat cells out through the bloodstream and the lymphatic system. To reduce the appearance of cellulite, fine lines, and wrinkles, the Cryo T-Shock stimulates collagen and elastin production through the same process of thermal shock that is used for fat reduction, but it uses less cryotherapy and more thermography to tighten muscles and break up dimple causing fibers.
The body contouring treatments last for roughly 30 minutes to an hour and are done manually employing a massage technique. The purpose of the treatment is to lower the temperature of the fat cells enough to cause what is known as the phenomenon of apoptosis. Contrast Slimming is NOT at all like Coolscuplting or other fat reduction treatments. Other methods of non-surgical fat removal primarily involve necrotic cell death, which solely involves damaging fat with heat, high-intensity ultrasound or chemical injections. The problem? Unlike the thermal shock effect delivered by the T-Shock, the surrounding tissue isnt preserved so the pure reduction of fat cells is not achieved. With T-Shock the reduction of fat with preservation of surrounding non-fat tissue offers a more dramatic firming effect.
